For Immediate Release: August 31, 2021 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrests of DAVID BAEZ (DOB: 7/21/1985; married; unemployed) and MASSIEL INOA (DOB: 2/7/1993; married; unemployed) of 267 Hillside Avenue, Palisades Park on drug related offenses. The arrests are the result of a joint investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Hackensack Police Department under the direction of Officer-in-Charge Captain Darrin DeWitt. Pursuant to a joint narcotics investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force and the Hackensack Police Department, DAVID BAEZ was identified as a distributor of narcotics and was at-large for an outstanding robbery warrant out of New York City. CASTANEDA (DOB: 6/20/1978; single; unemployed) of 110 Hathaway Street, Wallington, NJ on charges of sexual assault and child endangerment. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love. On Thursday, August 12, 2021, the Division of Child Protection and Permanency contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding an allegation of a sexual assault of a minor by RENE A. CASTANEDA. An investigation was initiated and revealed that CASTANEDA sexually assaulted the minor, who was under the age of thirteen at the time at a residence in Elmwood Park, New Jersey. On Thursday, August 12, 2021, the Division of Child Protection and Permanency contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding an allegation of a sexual assault of a minor. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Hackensack Police Department under the direction of Officer in Charge Captain Darrin DeWitt. On Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at approximately 8:03 p.m., the Hackensack Police Department received a 911 call reporting a dispute at 95 Fairmount Avenue. Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of AQUELLIO PARKER (DOB: 3/12/1992); single; unemployed) of 18621 140th Avenue, Springfield Gardens, New York on charges related to disturbing, moving and/or concealing human remains. The arrest is the result of an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love, the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office under the direction of Sheriff Anthony Cureton, and the Ridgefield Park Police Department under the direction of Chief Joseph Rella. On Friday, August 13, 2021, at 10:38 a.m., the Ridgefield Park Police Department responded to a report of a suspicious large plastic container left in the area of Hobart Street and Teaneck Road, Ridgefield Park, NJ. Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella confirms the following information:  As previously reported, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the discovery of human remains that were found in the area of Hobart Street and Teaneck Road, Ridgefield Park, NJ on August 13, 2021. The victim has now been identified as 42-year-old Nicole Flanagan. The medical examiner’s office has not yet determined a cause of death, and this remains an active investigation.

Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announces the following information: The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Ridgefield Park Police Department are investigating the discovery of human remains that were found in the area of Hobart Street and Teaneck Road, Ridgefield Park. At 10:38 a.m. on August 13, 2021, the Ridgefield Park Police Department responded to the area on a report of a suspicious large plastic container having been left in the street. Human remains were located in the container, and the circumstances of the death and the origin of the container are being investigated. An investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Ridgefield Park Police Department under the direction of Chief Joseph Rella. No other information is available at this time.
