For Immediate Release: February 9, 2022 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of CARLETON E. DIXON (DOB: 7/09/1982; single; unemployed) of 307 Stanley Road, New Vineyard, Maine for drug and firearm related crimes. The arrest is the result of an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love. On Tuesday, February 8, 2022, during a narcotics investigation, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force conducted a search of a black 2012 Chevrolet Silverado in Fort Lee, NJ. The searched revealed bulk marijuana over twenty-five pounds, bulk U.S. currency totaling $50,705, and a handgun which was later found to be a “ghost gun.” “Ghost guns” are homemade firearms that lack commercial serial numbers. For Immediate Release: February 8, 2022 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced that NICHOLAS PAGANO (DOB: 01/20/1991; single; nurse) of 968 Kings Highway, Apt X16, West Deptford, NJ was found deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Waterford Township, NJ. NICHOLAS PAGANO was wanted on charges of attempted murder, aggravated arson, aggravated assault, and unlawful weapons possession. On Monday, February 7, 2022, at approximately 5:15 a.m., the Hackensack Police Department received a 9-1-1 call from a Hackensack University Medical Center (“HUMC”) employee on a report of an assault at the hospital. Hackensack Police responded to the hospital, where they learned that a 54-year-old HUMC employee had been attacked and burned by another individual in a break room, and that the attacker had fled the hospital. He is believed to be operating a 1998 white Jeep Grand Cherokee with black roof racks and New Jersey license plate number S57 NJH. He is believed to be armed and dangerous. An investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Hackensack Police Department under the direction of Officer in Charge Captain Darrin DeWitt. (DOB: 07/16/99; single; operator of DIRTY JERZY SUPPLIES LLC) of 9 Maria Court, Ringwood, NJ; ANTHONY GARCIA (DOB: 12/27/77; single; unemployed) of 772 First Street, Secaucus, NJ; and EZEKIEL PAULINO (DOB: 4/17/96; single; store clerk) of 70 Daniel Avenue, Rutherford, NJ on drug offenses. TROIANO (DOB: 11/07/1984; single; unemployed) of 85 Konight Court, Mahwah, NJ on child pornography charges. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love. On Thursday, February 3, 2022, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of CHRISTOPHER M. TROIANO during a months-long Internet child pornography investigation. The investigation revealed that TROIANO used the Internet to view, download, and possess more than 1000 digital files depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children. It was determined that TROIANO distributed digital files of child pornography on the Internet, as well. As a result of the investigation, CHRISTOPHER M.
