Prosecutor Mark Musella announces the following information: The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Hackensack Police Department are investigating a shooting that occurred at 789 Main Street in Hackensack on Sunday, May 29, 2022. At approximately 9:00 p.m., the Hackensack Police Department received a 911 call reporting a shooting at the Deli Mart located at 789 Main Street. Responding officers found a 33-year-old male victim with gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center where he is being treated. The suspect fled the area.   An investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Hackensack Police Department under the direction of Officer in Charge Captain Darrin DeWitt. No additional information is available at this time.

For Immediate Release:May 27, 2022Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of JOEL CINCO (DOB: 9/10/1973; married; unemployed) of 242 Westervelt Place, Lodi, NJ on charges of murder, burglary, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon. The arrest is the result of an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Lodi Police Department under the direction of Chief Donald Scorzetti. On Thursday, May 26, 2022 at approximately 9:32 p.m., the Lodi Police Department received a 911 call reporting a stabbing at 242 Westervelt Place in Lodi. Upon their arrival at the residence, officers found 44-year-old Janet Cinco with apparent stab wounds. She was transported to the Hackensack University Medical Center, where she was pronounced deceased. Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announces the following information: The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Lodi Police Department are investigating a homicide that occurred at 242 Westervelt Place in Lodi on Thursday, May 26, 2022. At approximately 9:32 p.m., the Lodi Police Department received a 911 call reporting a stabbing at that address. Upon their arrival, officers discovered a 44-year-old female victim with stab wounds and a 49-year-old male suspect. The victim was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center, where she was pronounced deceased. The suspect was arrested, and charges are pending.    An investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Lodi Police Department under the direction of Chief Donald Scorzetti. No other information is available at this time, but a formal statement will be issued later today.

The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love. On Friday, May 20, 2022, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of JAMES RAZIN during the course of a months-long Internet child pornography investigation. The investigation revealed that RAZIN used the Internet to view, download, possess, and distribute files depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent children. For Immediate Release:May 19, 2022Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrests of DARIEL PEREZ-GRULLON (DOB: 8/30/1999; single; unemployed) and LUIS GUZMAN-ENCARNACION (DOB: 05/23/1999; single; employed as a kitchen worker) of the Bronx, NY on carjacking-related charges. These arrests are the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love, the Washington Township Police Department under the direction of Chief Richard Skinner, and the Teaneck Police Department under the direction of Chief Glenn O’Reilly. During a two-month-long investigation by detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Investigation Squad and the Washington Township and Teaneck Police Departments, DARIEL PEREZ-GRULLON was identified as a suspect in multiple armed carjackings that occurred in Bergen County in March and April of 2022. PEREZ-GRULLON and LUIS GUZMAN-ENCARNACION were also identified as suspects in a conspiracy to commit a carjacking in Bergen County in May 2022.

For Immediate Release:May 17, 2022Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of CHRISTOPHER BAULCH (DOB: 7/24/1978; married; unemployed) of 48 Minns Avenue, Wayne, NJ on arson-related charges. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Lyndhurst Police Department under the direction of Chief Richard Jarvis. At approximately 9:37p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2022, the Lyndhurst Police Department received a report of a vehicle fire at the intersection of Valley Brook Avenue and Cleveland Avenue, Lyndhurst, NJ. Upon their arrival, officers observed a Ford Escape engulfed in flames. The fire was subsequently extinguished by the Lyndhurst Fire Department. An investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Lyndhurst Police Department revealed that CHRISTOPHER BAULCH had intentionally set the fire. (DOB: 10/09/1981; single; self-employed) of 246 Beechwood Drive, Paramus, NJ on a charge of possession with the intent to distribute marijuana. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love. On May 11, 2022, a warrant search of GONZALEZ’s vehicle revealed approximately twenty pounds of marijuana in a duffel bag. A search of GONZALEZ’s residence revealed additional marijuana, bulk cash and jewelry believed to be proceeds of his criminal activity. JOSE A. GONZALEZ JR. was charged with second-degree possession with the intent to distribute marijuana in a quantity greater than 5 pounds and less than 25 pounds, N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(10)(b). On Thursday, May 12, 2022, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of EVERETT C. REILLY during the course of a months-long Internet child pornography investigation. The investigation revealed that REILLY used the Internet to view, download, and possess more than 7,000 digital files, and distributed multiple digital files, depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children.
