For Immediate Release: February 28, 2023 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of WILBERT TOUSSAINT (DOB: 7/23/1991; single; unemployed) of 17702 Troutville Road, Queens, NY on a charge of receiving stolen property. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love. On February 27, 2023, detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force conducted a traffic stop of a suspected stolen vehicle traveling through Bergen County. Detectives were able to confirm the vehicle was reported stolen from Clay County, Florida on February 16, 2023, and the driver of the stolen vehicle was identified as Wilbert Toussaint. As a result of the investigation, Wilbert Toussaint was arrested at the scene and charged with third-degree receiving stolen property, N.J.S.A. 2C:20-7a. TOUSSAINT was released pending a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ.

Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announces the following information: The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit is investigating a death at the Super 8 Motel, 395 Washington Avenue, Carlstadt, NJ. On Tuesday, February 28, 2023, a female patron of the hotel was discovered deceased. The decedent’s name is being withheld at this time pending notification to next of kin.  This investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Carlstadt Police Department under the direction of Officer-in-Charge Deputy Chief Thomas Cox.  No additional information is available at this time.

For Immediate Release: February 24, 2023 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced that JOSEPH BILOTTA (DOB: 1/12/1958; single; employed) of 129 Marvin Rd, Middletown, NJ was charged with theft. This is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Lodi Police Department under the direction of Chief Donald Scorzetti. In September 2021, detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Financial Crimes Unit received information from the Lodi Police Department about an apparent account takeover scheme crafted by JOSEPH BILOTTA which targeted victims in New Jersey and Maryland. BILOTTA fraudulently opened a credit card to fund his lifestyle. BILOTTA utilized a victim’s retirement account to make payments to the fraudulently obtained credit card. For Immediate Release: February 22, 2023 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of JOSELINE DE JESUS-QUINONES (DOB: 4/07/1994; single; unemployed) of 747 North Railroad Street, Allentown, PA for money laundering. The arrest is the result of an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love. On February 21, 2023, during a money laundering investigation, detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle as it traveled through Bergen County, NJ. The investigation revealed that the driver, JOSELINE DE JESUS-QUINONES, was transporting $77,500.00 in cash that was believed to be from narcotics sales.
