For Immediate Release: November 7, 2023 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of NASER ABU ALI (DOB: 07/03/2003; single; tow-truck operator) of 3531 Vista Street, Philadelphia, PA, on charges of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident resulting in serious bodily injury and endangering an injured victim. The charges are the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Ridgefield Park Police Department under the direction of Chief Joseph Rella. On Sunday, September 24, 2023, at approximately 10:10 p.m., the Ridgefield Park Police Department responded to a report of a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian that occurred at the intersection of Ridgefield Avenue and Winant Avenue in Ridgefield Park, NJ. Prosecutor Mark Musella announces the following information: The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Bergenfield Police Department are investigating a death that occurred at a private residence on Brook Street on Sunday, November 5, 2023. At approximately 5:20 p.m., the Bergenfield Police Department responded to a 911 call regarding an unresponsive 2-year-old child. The child was transported to Holy Name Medical Center and later pronounced deceased. An investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Bergenfield Police Department under the direction of Chief Mustafa Rabboh. No other information is available at this time.

Prosecutor Mark Musella announces the following information: The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Wyckoff Police Department are investigating a fatal fire that occurred at 481 Meer Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ on Sunday, November 5, 2023. At approximately 12:05 p.m., the Wyckoff Police Department received a 911 call reporting a house fire at 481 Meer Avenue. Responding officers found 79-year-old Virginia Ingenito unresponsive, and she was later pronounced deceased. The fire was suppressed by the Wyckoff Fire Department. An investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Wyckoff Police Department under the direction of Chief David Murphy. For Immediate Release:  November 3, 2023 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced that on November 3, 2023, SUI KAM “TONY” TUNG of New York City, NY was sentenced to life in New Jersey State Prison after being convicted of murder, aggravated arson, desecration of human remains, hindering apprehension, tampering with evidence, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, and stalking in connection with the death of Robert Cantor in March 2011. Sometime between 10:30 p.m. on March 5, 2011, and 1:00 a.m. on March 6, 2011, SUI KAM “TONY” TUNG entered Robert Cantor’s home, where he forced Mr. Cantor to the basement, shot him in the back of the head with a .380 caliber handgun, and then set Mr. Cantor’s body and house on fire.  TUNG then fled the scene and returned to New York City where he spent hours destroying computer evidence. …
