For Immediate Release: July 28, 2024 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 40-year-old JISUN PARK of Carrollton, Texas on charges of armed robbery, armed burglary, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Norwood Police Department under the direction of Chief Christian Federici. On Saturday, July 27, 2024, at approximately 12:20 p.m., officers from the Norwood Police Department responded to a 911 call reporting an armed home invasion at a private residence on Impatiens Way. Responding officers discovered that two adult victims and their children were confronted by an armed, masked man who entered their garage. HERBERT of New Milford, NJ on charges of attempted sexual assault, criminal restraint, criminal sexual contact and simple assault. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck, and the Hackensack Police Department under the direction of Officer-in-Charge Michael Antista. On Friday, July 26, 2024, the Hackensack Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding an alleged attempted sexual assault that occurred at the Riverside Square Mall in Hackensack, NJ the previous evening. For Immediate Release: July 26, 2024 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of RAEQUANN REID, 29, of Paterson, NJ for strict liability in a drug-induced death and drug distribution-related charges. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Rochelle Park Police Department under the direction of Chief Dean Pinto. On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at approximately 9:47 a.m., the Rochelle Park Police Department responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting an unconscious and unresponsive male in a private residence on Rochelle Avenue in Rochelle Park, NJ. The victim was ultimately pronounced deceased by paramedics and identified as 37-year-old James A. Mara of Rochelle Park, NJ. For Immediate Release: July 22, 2024 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announces a death investigation underway in Harrington Park, NJ, which is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck, and the Harrington Park Police Department under the direction of Chief Robert Murphy. On Saturday, July 20, 2024, at approximately 3:32 p.m., the Harrington Park Police Department responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting an unconscious and unresponsive adult female discovered in the bathroom of a private residence. Upon arrival, first responders located 55-year-old Rachel Minaya and attempted to resuscitate her. Rachel Minaya was transported via ambulance to Hackensack Meridian Health Pascack Valley Medical Center in Westwood, NJ but pronounced deceased at 4:26 p.m. The circumstances involved do not appear suspicious, however a ruling on the cause and manner of death is pending. Additional details are not available for release while this investigation continues.

For Immediate Release: July 17, 2024 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 44-year-old SANG PARK of Belle Mead, NJ on charges of theft by deception. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck. In December 2023, the Ridgefield Park Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Financial Crimes Unit regarding an allegation of employee embezzlement at a company based in Ridgefield Park, NJ. Detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Financial Crimes Unit initiated an investigation into the alleged activity. The comprehensive investigation revealed that SANG PARK manipulated his payroll and employee reimbursement from 2018 through 2022. It further revealed that PARK embezzled over $1.2 million in company funds using various internal payroll and expense systems. DELACRUZ ROMERO of Lodi, NJ on charges of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in serious bodily injury. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Little Ferry Police Department under the direction of Chief James Walters. As previously reported, on Sunday, July 14, 2024, the Little Ferry Police Department responded to a serious two-car motor vehicle accident on Route 46 and notified the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Fatal Accident Investigation Unit, which also responded to the scene. A joint investigation revealed that a 2019 Dodge pickup truck, later revealed to have been operated by MIGUEL A. DELACRUZ ROMERO, was traveling east on Route 46 when it struck the rear of a 2022 Toyota sedan.
