For Immediate Release: December 31, 2025 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrests of 20-year-old NYLA J. KING of Wallington, NJ; 27-year-old KAS A. MALLORY of Wallington, NJ; and 27-year-old TREVONN A. NEVERS of River Edge, NJ; as well as charges filed against a 17-year-old juvenile from Passaic County, NJ, in connection with an armed home invasion. The arrests and charges are the result of a lengthy investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Deputy Chief Jeff Angermeyer, and the Lodi Police Department, under the direction of Chief Donald Scorzetti. For Immediate Release: December 24, 2025 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced a guilty plea entered in Bergen County Superior Court in the matter of the State of New Jersey vs. CHRISTIAN V. GIRON, 28, of Harrington Park, NJ. This plea agreement was in connection with the 2021 murder of 43-year-old Jeanette A. Willem that took place in Northvale, NJ. On Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at approximately 8:15 a.m., the Northvale Police Department responded to a report of a person severely injured at a private business on Ludlow Avenue in Northvale, NJ. Arriving officers located 43-year-old Jeanette A. Willem deceased from a head wound. The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit was notified, responded to the scene, and initiated a joint investigation with the Northvale Police Department. STEWART of Hillsdale, NJ on charges of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Deputy Chief Jeff Angermeyer, and the Hillsdale Police Department, under the direction of Chief Travis Woods. On Sunday, November 23, 2025, the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding alleged sexual assaults of a juvenile that had occurred in the past. FROST, of Wood-Ridge, NJ; 28-year-old JACHAI RICE, of Wood-Ridge, NJ; 38-year-old MEGHAN SCHENKENBERGER of Wood-Ridge, NJ; and 25-year-old ANTHONY N. SMITH of Wood-Ridge, NJ on various drug and weapon offenses. These arrests are the result of a months-long narcotic investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Deputy Chief Jeff Angermeyer, and the Wood-Ridge Police Department, under the direction of Chief Michael O’Donnell. For Immediate Release: December 17, 2025 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 47-year-old DEMETRIA YORK of Bergenfield, NJ on charges stemming from a hit-and-run crash. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Deputy Chief Jeff Angermeyer, and the River Edge Police Department, under the direction of Chief Michael J. Walker. On Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at approximately 6:15 p.m., the River Edge Police Department responded to a serious crash involving a pedestrian on Kinderkamack Road at the intersection of Windsor Road. Upon arrival, responding officers determined that the vehicle involved left the scene of the collision.
