For Immediate Release: January 23, 2026 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 24-year-old DETERRIEYNN T. LEWIS of Lithonia, GA, as well as charges filed against an 18-year-old man from DeKalb County, GA – who was a juvenile at the time of the offense – for an armed home invasion burglary incident. The arrest and charges are the result of a lengthy investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Deputy Chief Jeff Angermeyer, and the Cliffside Park Police Department, under the direction of Chief Yakup Zoklu. On Friday, May 9, 2025, at approximately 8:50 p.m., the Cliffside Park Police Department responded to an armed burglary in progress at a residence on Columbia Avenue in Cliffside Park, NJ. For Immediate Release: January 23, 2026 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 29-year-old JHAMIR E. BROWN of Passaic, NJ on charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault, and weapon offenses in connection with a shooting incident in Elmwood Park, NJ. In addition, 24-year-old DARIAL P. HUNT of Paterson, NJ was arrested and charged with possession of hollow-point bullets. These charges are the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Deputy Chief Jeff Angermeyer, and the Elmwood Park Police Department, under the direction of Chief Michael Foligno. On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at approximately 11:22 p.m., the Elmwood Park Police Department responded to a shooting that occurred on Donor Avenue. Upon arrival, responding officers located a 27-year-old male victim injured by gunfire. For Immediate Release: January 22, 2026 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrests of 47-year-old DAVID M. GREENSPAN of Monsey, NY; and 47-year-old DAHIMA K. ADAIR of Teaneck, NJ on charges related to a fraudulent property deed in Bergenfield, NJ. The arrests were the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Deputy Chief Jeff Angermeyer, and the Bergenfield Police Department, under the direction of Chief Mustafa Rabboh. In January of 2025, the Bergenfield Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Financial Crimes Unit regarding an allegation of deed fraud for property located in Bergenfield. The year-long investigation revealed that DAVID M. GREENSPAN forged a signature on a deed for real estate, had the deed notarized, and submitted the deed to the Borough of Bergenfield. GREENSPAN then took ownership of the property, valued at $306,000, and obtained loans against the property,…

PARRA-PESCOSO of Englewood, NJ on charges of attempted murder, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, aggravated assault, and possession of a large capacity ammunition magazine. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Deputy Chief Jeff Angermeyer, and the Englewood Police Department, under the direction of Chief Thomas Greeley. On Sunday, January 18, 2026, at approximately 3:52 a.m., the Englewood Police Department responded to a shooting at a private residence on Charles Street. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Deputy Chief Jeff Angermeyer. In November of 2024, the Mahwah Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Financial Crimes Unit regarding an alleged theft of funds from a corporation based in Bergen County, NJ. Following a lengthy investigation, detectives determined that JAN VINCENT B. AGAY, a former I.T. director who worked for the company, embezzled approximately $406,839.00 over the course of a two-year period. The investigation revealed that AGAY used company funds to purchase cryptocurrency mining hardware and virtual computing environments used for his own benefit, having no legitimate business purpose to his employer.
