For Immediate Release: June 1, 2026 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 20-year-old AIDEN C. PEREZ of Washingtonville, NY on charges stemming from a motor vehicle crash. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Chief Jeff Angermeyer, and the Paramus Police Department, under the direction of Chief Robert M. Guidetti. On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at approximately 9:53 p.m., the Paramus Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles that occurred along the southbound lanes of Route 17, near the exit for Ridgewood Avenue. For Immediate Release: June 1, 2026 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 30-year-old ANTHONY M. PIZZI on the charge of witness tampering. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jeff Angermeyer. On Thursday, April 16, 2026, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Confidential Investigations Unit received information regarding the alleged tampering of a witness during an administrative investigation being conducted by the Garfield Police Department. An investigation was initiated by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and revealed that ANTHONY M. PIZZI, a Garfield Police Sergeant, contacted a Garfield Police Officer and instructed that officer to provide false information to internal affairs investigators in an effort to tamper with the facts and outcome of the investigation. For Immediate Release: June 1, 2026 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the filing of charges against 20-year-old JADEN NOBOA of New York, NY, as well as delinquency charges filed against two former juveniles, following a lengthy investigation into an armed carjacking that occurred in River Edge, NJ in 2023. The charges are the result of an extensive investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Chief Jeff Angermeyer, and the River Edge Police Department, under the direction of Chief Michael Walker. On Saturday, December 23, 2023, the River Edge Police Department responded to an armed carjacking that occurred in a parking lot on Grand Avenue in River Edge, NJ.
