On Thursday, March 16, 2023, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of JONAH E. LLULL during a months-long Internet child pornography investigation. The arrest is the result of an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love. On March 15, 2023, during a narcotics investigation, detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle as it traveled through Bergen County, NJ. On March 13, 2023, following a four-week jury trial before the Honorable Margaret M. Foti, P.J.Cr., in Bergen County Superior Court, MARTINEZ was convicted of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, armed robbery, felony murder, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. The jury acquitted MARTINEZ of two other weapons offenses. On Friday, March 3, 2023, at approximately 1:40 a.m., the Ridgewood Police Department received a 911 call reporting a single vehicle accident at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Rock Road. On March 3, 2023, detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force conducted a traffic stop of a suspected stolen vehicle traveling through Bergen County and determined it was a “re-VIN” stolen vehicle. A VIN, or vehicle identification number, is one or more small plates affixed to all vehicles that provide a permanent identification of that automobile, regardless of ownership or license plates.
