For Immediate Release: April 5, 2022 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of PASCUAL CIRIACO (DOB: 5/17/1972; married; unemployed) of 11 Bronx River Road, Apartment 6G, Yonkers, NY on a money laundering offense. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love. On April 4, 2022, an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force revealed that PASCUAL CIRIACO was transporting bulk amounts of currency through Bergen County. During this investigation, a search was conducted on CIRIACO’s vehicle in Teaneck, NJ. That search revealed an electronically operated after-market hidden compartment containing $11,691 in currency. CIRIACO was arrested at the scene of the search. PASCUAL CIRIACO was charged with third-degree money laundering, less than 75 thousand dollars, N.J.S.A. 2C:21-25a. For Immediate Release: April 1, 2022 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of HECTOR MORROBEL (DOB: 8/04/1976; married; self-employed) of 378 Kaplan Ave, Hackensack, NJ on money laundering and identity theft charges. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love. On March 31, 2022, following a month-long investigation, a search warrant was executed at HECTOR MORROBEL’s residence. MORROBEL was found to be in possession of over $26,000 in cash along with multiple fraudulent government documents with the personal identifying information of another person. The investigation also revealed that MORROBEL is a fugitive from justice with an active warrant related to charges in Massachusetts. HECTOR MORROBEL was charged with third-degree money laundering, N.J.S.A. 2C:21-25a; fourth-degree impersonation, N.J.S.A. 2C:21-17a(4); and fourth-degree possession of a fraudulent driver’s license, N.J.S.A. 2C:21-2.1(d). The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love. On March 31, 2022, an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force revealed that ROBERT DIAZ and JOSE PICHARDO were in possession of cocaine and involved in stealing identities of unsuspecting victims. During this investigation, a search was conducted on PICHARDO’s vehicle in Leonia, NJ. That search revealed a sophisticated electronically operated hidden compartment in the vehicle’s dashboard. On Friday, December 3, 2021, detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Financial Crimes Unit received a complaint against JACQUELINE RILEY that RILEY was involved in the theft of medical equipment from her previous employer, a Bergen County based medical equipment company, and was selling the items to medical reseller businesses. On March 29, 2022, an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force revealed that FLORIAN VUKA was transporting bulk shipments of marijuana through Bergen County and the proceeds of those bulk marijuana sales back to Michigan. During this investigation, a search was conducted on VUKA’s vehicle in South Hackensack, New Jersey. That search revealed approximately seven packages of marijuana with a total weight of seven pounds, as well as $57,715.00 in U.S. currency. For Immediate Release: March 29, 2022 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of a Bergen County juvenile on child pornography charges. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love. On Thursday, March 24, 2022, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of a juvenile during the course of an Internet child pornography investigation. The investigation revealed that the juvenile used the Internet to view, download, and possess more than 1,000 digital files depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children. In addition, the juvenile used the Internet to share digital files depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children. Further investigation revealed that the juvenile also used the camera on a smartphone to record and view an area of a public bathroom.
