For Immediate Release: July 7, 2026 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 43-year-old ATTILIO DENTE (employed as a Police Officer with the Saddle Brook Police Department) on charges of aggravated assault, tampering with public records, and obstruction. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jeff Angermeyer. On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Confidential Investigations Unit received information from the Saddle Brook Police Department regarding alleged violations of the use-of-force policy by a Saddle Brook Police Officer.
