For Immediate Release: April 10, 2026 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 23-year-old JONNATHAN F. GANAN TAZA of Hackensack, NJ, on charges of distribution and possession of child sexual abuse material. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jeff Angermeyer. On Friday, April 10, 2026, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of JONNATHAN F. GANAN TAZA during the course of an Internet child sexual abuse material investigation. The investigation revealed that GANAN TAZA used the Internet to view, download, possess, distribute, and share items depicting nude and/or sexually explicit pubescent and prepubescent children. For Immediate Release: April 2, 2026 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrests of 24-year-old JALEN S. EVERETT of Lodi, NJ; 19-year-old JOSHUA M. KHAN of Englewood, NJ; and 20-year-old LOUIS B. PLACIDE of Cresskill, NJ on charges stemming from a shooting incident that occurred in Englewood, NJ. The arrests were the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Chief Jeff Angermeyer, and the Englewood Police Department, under the direction of Chief Thomas Greeley. On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at approximately 11:00 a.m., the Englewood Police Department responded to reports of shots fired in the area of the Park View Housing Apartments. MCERLEAN of Lodi, NJ, related to his recent arrest for distribution and possession of child sexual abuse material. The latest charges are the result of the ongoing investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jeff Angermeyer. As previously reported, on Friday, March 27, 2026, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of PAUL D. MCERLEAN during the course of an Internet child sexual abuse material investigation. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jeff Angermeyer. On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit was contacted by the Division of Child Protection & Permanency regarding an alleged incident of child abuse. The alleged child abuse was reported to have occurred while children were under the care of JENNA JUNIO in her role supervising them. These charges are the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Chief Jeff Angermeyer, and the Hackensack Police Department, under the direction of Chief Michael Antista. On Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at approximately 3:00 p.m., the Hackensack Police Department responded to an injured person at the intersection of Banta Place and State Street.
