For Immediate Release: March 1, 2024 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of ANDREW VILLAFUERTE (DOB: 4/28/1990; single; entertainer) of Airmont, NY on charges of aggravated criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Acting Chief Matthew Finck and the New Milford Police Department under the direction of Chief Brian Clancy. On Tuesday, January 16, 2024, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit was contacted regarding the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile. For Immediate Release: March 1, 2024 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of NICHOLAS CAVANIOLA (DOB: 07/31/1992; single; mechanic) of Westwood, NJ on charges of sexual assault and child endangerment. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Acting Chief Matthew Finck. On May 08, 2023, the Westwood Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile that occurred in the past. An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office revealed that NICHOLAS CAVANIOLA sexually assaulted a child under the age of 13 in Westwood, NJ. The investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Acting Chief Matthew Finck and the Teaneck Police Department under the direction of Chief Andrew McGurr. As previously reported, the Teaneck Police Department received a 911 call on Monday, February 19, 2024, at approximately 12:30 a.m., reporting a fire at 850 Palisade Avenue in Teaneck. The Teaneck Police Department responded to the scene along with the Teaneck Fire Department and mutual aid from the Englewood and Hackensack Fire Departments.
