For Immediate Release: April 5, 2024 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of YASSINE G. RAHI, 18, of Bayonne, NJ for robbery, aggravated assault, leaving the scene of an accident resulting in serious bodily injury, endangering an injured victim, and theft by unlawful taking. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Moonachie Police Department under the direction of Chief Richard Behrens. On Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at approximately 4:58 p.m., the Moonachie Police Department responded to Avenue C in Moonachie, NJ for a reported hit-and-run. For Immediate Release: April 4, 2024 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of COREY W. BARRACLOUGH, 33, of South Hackensack, NJ on charges of distribution and possession of child sexual abuse material. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck. On Thursday, April 4, 2024, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of COREY BARRACLOUGH during the course of an Internet child sexual abuse material investigation. The investigation revealed that BARRACLOUGH used the Internet to view, download, possess, and distribute over 28,000 items depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children. For Immediate Release: March 28, 2024 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of BRIAN DRISCOLL, 36, of New Milford, NJ on a charge of possession of child sexual abuse material. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Acting Chief Matthew Finck. On Thursday, January 11, 2024, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit was contacted by the New Jersey State Parole Board regarding a parolee who violated the terms of his release and was suspected of possessing child pornography. BRIAN DRISCOLL was arrested by parole officers for violating the conditions of his release, and a subsequent investigation was initiated by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit. For Immediate Release: March 28, 2024 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of MELVIN GUZMAN, 29, of Garfield, NJ for strict liability in a drug-induced death and a drug distribution-related charge. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Acting Chief Matthew Finck and the Garfield Police Department under the direction of Chief Richard Uram. On Saturday, September 17, 2023, at approximately 6:41 p.m., the Garfield Police Department received a 911 call reporting the drug overdose of two victims. Responding officers located the two victims in the area of 249 Lincoln Place in Garfield, and life saving measures were immediately initiated, including the administration of Naloxone. On Friday, March 22, 2024, the Palisades Park Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile that occurred in the past. An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office revealed that JORGE ORREGO-GARCIA sexually assaulted a juvenile under the age of 13 in Palisades Park, NJ. Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announces the following information: The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Paramus Police Department are investigating a motor vehicle crash that occurred on Route 4 in Paramus, NJ.  At approximately 2:28 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024, the Paramus Police Department responded to Route 4 West near the intersection of Paramus Road for a report of a motor vehicle crash that involved two vehicles, and several injured persons with possible serious injuries.  An investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Acting Chief Matthew Finck and the Paramus Police Department under the direction of Chief Robert M. Guidetti.  No other information is available at this time, but more details will be released when possible.
