On Thursday, April 16, 2026, at approximately 5:33 a.m., the Union County Prosecutor’s Office and the Lyndhurst Police Department attempted to effect the arrest of 38-year-old BRENDAN R. TRIVISONNO in front of his residence in Lyndhurst, NJ, on charges stemming from a homicide investigation in Union County, NJ. LEE of Closter, NJ on the charge of aggravated assault stemming from an incident that occurred in Palisades Park, NJ. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Chief Jeff Angermeyer, and the Palisades Park Police Department, under the direction of Chief George Beck. On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at approximately 9:38 p.m., the Palisades Park Police Department responded to a private residence to investigate a 9-1-1 hang-up call. Upon arrival, officers learned that an assault had taken place earlier that same day in Palisades Park.
