Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announces the following information: The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Teaneck Police Department are investigating a fire that occurred at 850 Palisade Avenue, Teaneck, NJ on Monday, February 19, 2024. At approximately 12:30 a.m., on February 19, 2024, the Teaneck Police Department received a report of a fire at 850 Palisade Avenue in Teaneck. Teaneck Police officers responded along with the Teaneck Fire Department and the Hackensack Fire Department. During fire suppression, first responders located multiple residents who were trapped in the basement of the residence.  All victims were transported to Hackensack University Medical Center.   An investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Acting Chief Matthew Finck and the Teaneck Police Department under the direction of Andrew McGurr.
