For Immediate Release: May 21, 2024 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of JAHAN A. HENDLEY, 23, of Clifton, NJ on charges of armed robbery, kidnapping and other related offenses. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Allendale Police Department under the direction of Chief Michael Dillon. On Monday, March 25, 2024, at approximately 3:48 p.m., the Allendale Police Department responded to a reported dispute at an apartment complex. Upon arrival, officers discovered that an armed robbery occurred and the assailant fled the scene. The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Investigations Squad was notified, responded, and initiated a joint investigation with the Allendale Police Department into the incident. For Immediate Release: May 20, 2024 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 25-year-old MICHAEL HERNANDEZ of Garfield, NJ on charges of attempted kidnapping and stalking. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Garfield Police Department under the direction of Chief Richard Uram. On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, the Garfield Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding multiple suspicious incidents that occurred during the past month, and involved an unidentified male following a female victim in Garfield, NJ. The victim reported that on May 8, 2024, the unidentified male approached her and grabbed her neck and backpack in an attempt to remove her from the sidewalk, but an unknown Good Samaritan intervened and the suspect subsequently fled the area on foot. RICKETTS, 25, of 334 Main Street, Apartment 3, East Rutherford, NJ, on charges of possession of child sexual abuse material. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck. On Friday, May 17, 2024, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of NOEL Q. RICKETTS during the course of an Internet child sexual abuse material investigation. The investigation revealed that RICKETTS used the Internet to view, download and possess 3,700 items depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children. BURI-MORA of Hackensack, NJ on charges of criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child. On Sunday, May 12, 2024, the Hackenack Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding an alleged sexual contact of a juvenile. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Suffern (NY) Police Department under the direction of Police Chief Andrew Loughlin. On Friday, February 16, 2024, at approximately 3:37 p.m., the Suffern (NY) Police Department responded to a 911 call reporting an adult male who was unresponsive in the upstairs bedroom of a residence.
