For Immediate Release: October 3, 2024 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 48-year-old JASON S. MCNEILL of Wyckoff, NJ on charges of theft by deception and forgery. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck. In April 2024, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Financial Crimes Unit received information alleging JASON S. MCNEILL’s involvement in a fraudulent investment scheme. Detectives from the Financial Crimes Unit initiated an investigation into the activity and determined that MCNEILL solicited approximately $420,000 from investors by presenting them with forged documents.
