For Immediate Release: January 28, 2025 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 25-year-old MARCUS N. MARSON of Leonia, NJ on charges of attempted murder, attempted carjacking, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, possession of a weapon, and resisting arrest. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Fort Lee Police Department under the direction of Chief Matthew Hintze. On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at approximately 9:17 a.m., the Fort Lee Police Department responded to a stabbing on Duncan Avenue in Fort Lee, NJ. Upon arrival, officers located a 37-year-old male victim with serious stab wounds, and the assailant had already fled the scene. PINCAY-SAILEMA of Rutherford, NJ on charges of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Rutherford Police Department under the direction of Chief John R. Russo. On Thursday, January 23, 2025, the Rutherford Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile under the age of thirteen that had occurred in Rutherford, NJ. For Immediate Release: January 10, 2025 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of a Bergen County, NJ juvenile on the charge of possession of child sexual abuse material. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck. On August 12, 2024, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit identified a 17-year-old juvenile during an ongoing Internet child pornography investigation. The months-long investigation, which involved a court-authorized search of the juvenile’s electronic device, revealed that the juvenile viewed, saved, downloaded, and/or possessed 1,751 items depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children. For Immediate Release: January 10, 2025 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 43-year-old AMIRA T. WHITE of Belleville, NJ, on charges of theft by deception. The arrest is the result of a months-long investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck. In March of 2024, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Financial Crimes Unit was contacted regarding an alleged theft and abstraction of customer funds at a Bergen County bank. The investigation revealed that AMIRA T. WHITE, a bank manager, stole $54,648 from cash boxes located at the bank and maintained by her. Additionally, WHITE withdrew approximately $15,000 from a customer’s account and diverted those funds to her own cash box balance in order to conceal the ongoing theft. This initiative was a special, directed patrol and investigative response task force that was assembled at the start of the recent holiday season. As a collaborative effort of combined resources from the Prosecutor’s Office, municipal police departments, and federal law enforcement, the Crime Suppression Team aimed to enhance public safety throughout the county during a particularly busy time of year.
