Community Engagement Division

The Community Engagement Division serves as a critical network between the citizens of Bergen County and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.

The mission of the Community Engagement Division is to promote awareness of the needs and issues facing local communities, and seeks to build and strengthen relationships between Bergen County residents, businesses, schools and various law enforcement agencies.

The primary objective for the Community Engagement Division is to continue to work with our current community partners and develop new partnerships and continued dialogue with these communities as to their law enforcement needs and intelligence gathering efforts.

Bergen County Introduces Electric Vehicle Initiative

BCPO added two electric vehicles to our fleet: a Tesla Model Y and a Chevrolet Bolt. This is part of a county-wide initiative to use “green” technology to reduce repair and maintenance costs and eliminate fuel costs, and both vehicles were purchased without the use of taxpayer dollars. Be on the lookout for these pollution-reducing vehicles around Bergen County, NJ.
