The purpose of this directive is to codify the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office (“BCPO”) policy and procedures concerning the Heroin Addiction Recovery Team (“HART”), which is designed to direct those suffering from the disease of addiction towards recovery resources. (This Directive has been superseded by Bergen County Prosecutor’s Law Enforcement Directive No. 2024-1.)
