As a result of the implementation of the E-CDR system, the New Jersey State Police are no longer supplying this Office with blank CDR forms. This Directive sets forth the procedure for taking citizen complaints.

Please be advised that, effective immediately, it shall be the policy of law enforcement in Bergen County that a unified and consistent active shooter policy exists and which shall apply to all sworn law enforcement officers responding to an Active Shooter situation within the County in accordance therewith.
The purpose of this Directive is to establish minimum procedures, which must be followed for the use of the mobile video, and audio equipment, which have been installed in patrol units.
