HACKENSACK, NJ MAN CHARGED WITH ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A CHILD

Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of REYNALDO ARIEL TARQUINO (DOB:01/05/1995; single; line service technician) of Hackensack, NJ, on charges of endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Hackensack Police Department under the direction of Officer in Charge Captain Michael Antista.
On Friday, January 5, 2024, the Division of Child Protection and Permanency contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged child abuse of a juvenile. An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Hackensack Police Department revealed that REYNALDO ARIEL TARQUINO abused a child under the age of 13, in Hackensack and New Milford, NJ.
As a result of the investigation, on Friday, January 5, 2024, REYNALDO ARIEL TARQUINO was arrested in Paramus, NJ and charged with second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4a(2). REYNALDO ARIEL TARQUINO was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ.
Prosecutor Musella states that the charge is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. He would like to thank the Hackensack Police Department for its assistance in this investigation.
