There will be a press conference tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. to announce the results of "Operation Safe City" – a joint initiative by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, the Englewood Police Department, and the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office, targeting the rise in gun violence in Englewood, New Jersey this year. To date, the initiative has resulted in 19 arrests, including the arrest of four individuals on attempted murder charges, the recovery of 7 illegal firearms, the seizure of controlled substances, and, most importantly, a drop in shooting incidents.
