DAVID CRENSHAW OF HARRISON, NJ CHARGED WITH CHILD ABUSE

Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal announced the arrest of DAVID CRENSHAW (DOB: 12/08/1982; married; and employed as a police officer) on a charge of Child Abuse. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by members of the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti.

On Thursday, August 17, 2017, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office received information that a nine-year-old victim had been physically abused by David CRENSHAW in Harrison, New Jersey.

As a result of the investigation, David CRENSHAW was arrested on Friday, September 15, 2017 in Paramus, New Jersey and charged with one count of Child Abuse, Title 9:6-3, a 4th degree crime. CRENSHAW was processed for arrest and issued a copy of his complaint summons. CRENSHAW is scheduled to appear in Bergen County Central Judicial Processing Court for a first appearance on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 9:00 a.m.

Prosecutor Grewal states that these charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
