DALE MORALES OF TEANECK, NJ CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED SEXUAL ASSAULT, SEXUAL ASSAULT, AND ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A CHILD

Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo announced the arrest of DALE MORALES (DOB: 12/19/1969; married; and employed as Department Supervisor of a home improvement store) of 668 Martense Avenue, Teaneck, NJ on charges of Aggravated Sexual Assault, Sexual Assault, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The arrest is the result of a joint investigation conducted by members of the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti and the Teaneck Police Department under the direction of Chief Glenn M. O’Reilly.

On Tuesday, January 16, 2018, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office received information that Dale MORALES had engaged in sexual acts with a fourteen-year-old female on two occasions in Teaneck, NJ during 2014 and 2015. As a result of the information received, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Teaneck Police Department initiated an investigation and Dale MORALES was arrested on January 16, 2018 in Teaneck, NJ.

Dale MORALES was charged with one count of Aggravated Sexual Assault, N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2a(1), a 1st degree crime, Sexual Assault, N.J.S.A. 2C: 14-2b, a 2nd degree crime, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, N.J.S.A. 2C: 24-4a, a 2nd degree crime. MORALES is scheduled for a first appearance in Bergen County Central Judicial Processing Court on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 1:30 PM.

Acting Prosecutor Calo states that these charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and would also like to thank the Teaneck Police Department for their assistance in this investigation.
