GERARDO CAMILO-NOLASCO OF BRONX, NY CHARGED WITH DRUG DISTRIBUTION IN FORT LEE, NJ

Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo announced the arrest of GERARDO CAMILO-NOLASCO (DOB: 07/25/1975; married; taxi driver) of 630 E. 170th Street, Apt. 5B, Bronx, New York. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by members of the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti.

Pursuant to a narcotics investigation conducted by members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, a motor vehicle solely occupied by Gerardo CAMILO-NOLASCO was stopped in the area of Fort Lee, NJ. A search of the vehicle revealed ten pounds of suspected crystal methamphetamine and approximately four grams of suspected cocaine. The street value of the suspected crystal methamphetamine is estimated at $800,000.00.

Gerardo CAMILO-NOLASCO was charged with one count of Possession with the Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine in a quantity greater than five (5) ounces, N.J.S.A 2C:35-5(8), a crime of the 1st and one count of possession of Cocaine, N.J.S.A 2C:35-10A(1), a crime of the 3rd. CAMILO-NOLASCO was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a first appearance court date at Central Judicial Processing in Hackensack, NJ.

Acting Prosecutor Calo states that the charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
