Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo announced the arrest of CHRISTIAN WINNER (DOB: 9/13/1968; single; and employed as a store clerk) of 136 Larch Avenue, Dumont, NJ on a charge of Possession of Child Pornography. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti.
On Friday, April 13, 2018, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of Christian WINNER in connection with an investigation that revealed that Christian WINNER used the Internet to view and possess digital files depicting nude or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children.
Christian WINNER was arrested on April 13, 2018 and charged with one count of Possession of Child Pornography in an amount greater than 1,000 files, N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4(b)5(b)ii, a 2nd degree crime. Christian WINNER was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending an appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
Acting Prosecutor Calo states that the charge is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt and would like to thank the Dumont Police Department for their assistance. In addition, Acting Prosecutor Calo would like to thank the Lyndhurst Police Department, which participates in the Bergen County Cyber Crimes Task Force.
