Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of LARRY ROSNER (DOB: 04/12/1955; divorced; retired) of 21A South Maple Ave, Park Ridge, NJ on charges of Aggravated Sexual Assault and Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti and the Park Ridge Police Department under the direction of Chief Joseph Madden.
On Thursday, August 6, 2020, the Park Ridge Police Department received a 911 call from a woman who stated she had been sexually assaulted by LARRY ROSNER while she was incapacitated in his apartment. Park Ridge Police responded and found the woman standing outside of the apartment and ROSNER inside the apartment. Park Ridge Police contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit, and an investigation was initiated.
As a result of the investigation, on Thursday, August 6, 2020, LARRY ROSNER was charged by the Park Ridge Police Department with one count of Aggravated Sexual Assault, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2a(7), a 1st degree crime; and one count of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-3b(7), a 3rd degree crime. He was remanded to the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack, NJ pending a detention hearing on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.
Prosecutor Musella states that the charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and he would like to thank the Park Ridge Police Department for its assistance in this investigation.
