Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announces the following information:

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Saddle River Police Department are investigating a death that occurred at a private residence on Fox Hedge Road on Monday, July 31, 2023. At approximately 4:26 p.m., the Saddle River Police Department responded to a 911 call regarding an unresponsive 39-year-old woman in a pool. Subsequently, the woman was transported to Valley Hospital and ultimately pronounced deceased.

An investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Saddle River Police Department under the direction of Chief Jason Cosgriff. No other information is available at this time.
