Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announces the following information:

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Franklin Lakes Police Department are investigating a homicide that occurred at 552 Haddon Place in Franklin Lakes, NJ on Sunday, December 10, 2023. At approximately 7:39 a.m., Franklin Lakes Police responded to the residence and found the victim deceased. The decedent’s name is currently being withheld pending notification of next of kin. 

The investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Franklin Lakes Police Department under the direction of Officer in Charge Captain Mark McCombs. No other information is available at this time.
