RUTHERFORD, NJ MAN CHARGED WITH ADDITIONAL SEXUAL ASSAULT OFFENSES

Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced additional charges against 43-year-old ROLANDO F. PINCAY-SAILEMA of Rutherford, NJ. These latest charges are the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Rutherford Police Department under the direction of Chief John R. Russo.
As previously reported, on Thursday, January 23, 2025, the Rutherford Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile under the age of thirteen. An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Rutherford Police Department revealed that ROLANDO F. PINCAY-SAILEMA sexually assaulted a juvenile under the age of thirteen repeatedly in Rutherford, NJ over the past three years. On Monday, January 27, 2025, ROLANDO F. PINCAY-SAILEMA was arrested on charges of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child.
As a result of the continuing investigation, detectives subsequently determined that ROLANDO F. PINCAY-SAILEMA committed two additional acts of aggravated sexual assault on a child under the age of thirteen in Rutherford, NJ. On Friday, January 31, 2025, ROLANDO F. PINCAY-SAILEMA was additionally charged with two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2a(1). PINCAY-SAILEMA remains in custody at the Bergen County Jail pending additional court appearances in Bergen County Superior Court for the various charges filed in this case.
Prosecutor Musella states that all of the charges in this case are merely accusations, and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. He would like to thank the Rutherford Police Department for its assistance in this continuing investigation.
