“Regarding Viewing Tagged Body Worn Camera Recordings” On July 28, 2015, New Jersey Acting Attorney General John J. Hoffman issued Law Enforcement Directive 2015-1 Regarding Police Body Worn Cameras (“BWCs”) and Stored BWC Recordings (“AG Directive”). The AG Directive, which is attached, sets forth statewide standards for the deployment and use of BWCs and recordings. This Directive is in response to a request by a Chief of Police to access “tagged” portions of BWC recordings.
