Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of CHUKWUEMEKA TEDDY DIKE (DOB: 1/10/1972; married; accountant) of Teaneck, NJ on a charge of child abuse. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Teaneck Police Department under the direction of Chief Glenn O’Reilly.

On Wednesday, July 13, 2022, the Teaneck Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged physical assault of a child. An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Teaneck Police Department revealed that CHUKWUEMEKA TEDDY DIKE assaulted the child, who was younger than 18 years old, in Teaneck, New Jersey.

As a result of the investigation, on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, CHUKWUEMEKA TEDDY DIKE was arrested in Paramus, NJ and charged with fourth-degree child abuse, N.J.S. 9:6-3. DIKE was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ.

Prosecutor Musella states that the charge is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and he would like to thank the Teaneck Police Department for their assistance in this investigation.
