Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 50-year-old BRIAN C. SARACUSA of Wyckoff, NJ, on charges of distribution and possession of child sexual abuse material, creation of deceptive visual media, and invasion of privacy. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Chief Jeff Angermeyer.

On Tuesday, July 14, 2026, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a court-authorized search warrant at the residence of BRIAN C. SARACUSA during the course of a weeks-long investigation involving child endangerment, child sexual abuse material, and invasion of privacy. The investigation revealed that SARACUSA used the Internet to create and distribute a computer-generated video of child pornography. In addition, the investigation revealed that SARACUSA photographed and recorded an adult on multiple occasions and in various states of undress without the adult’s consent or knowledge.

As a result of the investigation, on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, BRIAN C. SARACUSA was arrested and charged with second-degree distribution of child pornography, N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4b(5)(a)(i); third-degree possession of child pornography, N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4b(5)(b)(iii); third-degree creation of deceptive visual media, N.J.S.A. 2C:21-17.8b(3); and third-degree invasion of privacy, N.J.S.A. 2C:14-9b(1). SARACUSA was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, NJ.

Prosecutor Musella states that the charges are merely accusations, and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. He would like to thank the Wyckoff Police Department for its coordination and assistance with this investigation.
